A verbatim drama retelling the events of when a local Glaswegian community came together to stop a dawn-raid.
On May 13th 2021, two men were forcibly removed from their home in Kenmure Street and thrown into the back of an immigration van.
Within the hour, thousands came to block the van from leaving, leading to an eight-hour stand-off between the police and peaceful protestors, before the two men were eventually let out and freed.
Using conducted interviews, news reports and eyewitness film footage, Kenmure Street retells the events of that momentous day five years on, exploring the power and resilience of community action.
