Creating this special set to celebrate their first ever headline show at Celtic Connections, Isle of Skye’s Siiga will take you on a dreamy, intimate journey through the compelling stories of songwriter Richard Macintyre’s soaring, multi-layered sonic dreamworlds. Pulling from a career of three incredible albums of critically acclaimed music, ‘The Story of Siiga’ will wrap you within the unique prism of sound and colour through which he sees the world in this first ever 'full band show’ in the beautiful church setting of Glasgow’s Cottiers venue.
The musical journey of Siiga began with Richard alone back on his home of Skye, 'recording in a cupboard of old coats’. Joined by Iain Hutchison for the making of Gemini Rising, Siiga has now grown into this fully formed band of incredible Scottish musicians who have come together for the shimmering, dream-pop record ’Nostalgia Burns’, releasing in 2026. A night not to be missed.
