Debbie Googe is the bassist and driving pulse behind My Bloody Valentine and also the bassist for rock icons Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) and Brix Smith (The Fall).
Debbie will present a solo performance of her project da Googie. Expect a deep dive into her sound world mixing traditional bass lines with abstract noises, visuals and field recordings to create intricate, layered soundscapes.
There's also a chance to hear her singing and playing some songs from her album The Golden Thread.
Debbie will also be sharing a specially curated playlist featuring some of her musical inspirations. There will also be surprises from the house band Radhika plus a Q&A with Debbie giving us deeper insights into what makes her tick and her unique approach to playing bass
