Bird tour in Uist and Benbecula with day trips to Barra and Harris. Particularly good for birds of prey, passage waders and wildfowl. Rutting red deer and otters are also seen
An exciting tour based in Benbecula from where we'll explore North Uist and South Uist with day trips to Barra and Harris. Very good for birds of prey including merlin, peregrine, hen harrier, golden eagle, white-tailed eagle etc as well as very good chance of seeing something unusual amongst the regular passage birds. Lots of waders along the shore and wildfowl passing. Otters are a regular sight and red deer should be in rut.
Bird and wildlife tours throughout the Outer Hebrides. We organise all-inclusive week long tours (such as Corncrake and Phalaropes) and one day trips throughout the year. We're the only wildlife tour company based in the islands and have been operating here since 2007. The website has an up to date page for sightings of birds and other unusual wildlife seen as well as providing lots of information on what you could expect to see. Otters are common whilst eagles, Hen Harrier and Short-eared Owl are often sighted on the tours. For more details please visit the website
