Join us on this full day tour, starting on the beautiful Moray coast and ending in the stunning Monadhliath Mountains. We will cover variety of habitats giving a great insight to the different birds of this region of Scotland, Birding Paradise!

From a rocky headland and sheltered sandy bays to beautiful valleys and Glens, via freshwater lochs and heather covered moors, join Birding Ecosse for a fun filled, full day birding tour taking in some of the many habitats this area has to offer.

What are we looking for?

Winter (October to April): Long Tailed Ducks, Common and Velvet Scoter, Slavonian Grebes, Black and Red Grouse, Golden and White Tailed Eagle, Snow Buntings and the characterful Crested Tit are some of the species we will be searching for.


Summer (May to September): Sandwich, Common and Arctic Terns, Summer plumaged Divers, Black and Red Grouse, Ring Ouzel, Slavonian Grebe and breeding plumaged Black Throated Divers not forgetting Golden and White Tailed Eagle.


What’s included? Pick up and drop off at your accommodation, all transport and guiding, plus light refreshments throughout the day, all you need to bring is a packed lunch and a love of birds.


How long will the day be? Pick up at your accommodation at 0800 – drop off around 17:00

How much does it cost? Cost is a fixed price of £140 then £95 per extra person up to a maximum of four people
