Day Trip to Iona, Staffa and Puffin Colony

This day tour departs from our base in Easdale - we spend 2.5 hours on land on Iona and then head over to Staffa to see Fingal's cave and look for puffins on the sea cliffs.

We depart from Easdale at 09:45 and return at 16:30, using our comfortable cabin RIB which provides shelter from the sea breeze!

It usually takes us just 75 minutes to arrive on Iona – you get 2.5 hours on land on Iona, plenty of time to explore, get something to eat or visit the Abbey. Once back on board we head over to Staffa, we do not land on Staffa as we believe it is best viewed from the sea and we also have a short visit to the puffin colony seeing the puffins on the water and maybe in the air – we can never guarantee any wildlife sightings however. Puffins tend to leave the colony towards the end of July. We try to operate this tour twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but outside of High Season we have an element of flexibility so call us for more information.
