Dolphin Mischief

A 2 hour wildlife watching boat trip on a fast boat along the Moray coast. We provide weather proof suits for passenger comfort and give a full safety brief prior to departure

The Dolphin Mischief is a fast Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) and travels through the inner Moray Firth in search of a variety of wildlife. We are based at Inverness Marina just off the A9 by the Kessock Bridge On our trips we hope to see dolphins, seals and otters year round. In addition at certain times we see Basking sharks (September) and Minke whales too. The Moray coast has a rich history and the Skipper makes frequent stops to point out places of interest. In addition the boat stops whenever wildlife appears and we can usually identify the regular resident pod of dolphins that hang about at Chanonry point. We operate under the Dolphin Space programme and our code of conduct prohibits us from chasing after these wonderful creatures, using a passive observation method. This ensures the dolphins are not disturbed when feeding or sleeping and they know they can trust the boats for this, resulting in rather special interactions when they are feeling playful.

Sightings are never guaranteed.
