Speyside Wildlife Hide, Cairngorms

Evening Mammal Watching

Our hide is located in the Cairngorms within the Caledonian Pine Forest near Aviemore. Badger are regular visitors all year round and Pine Marten can also be seen along with a variety of other Scottish wildlife including including Tawny Owls.

Come and enjoy our hide in the Cairngorms, near Aviemore, for Badger, Pine Marten and more. We regularly see Badgers at close quarters and Pine Marten also visit throughout the year and for the last few years, one of our locally released Scottish Wildcats has also visited. The animals come right up to the large picture windows and our knowledgable guide will accompany you throughout. Our hide can also be hired exclusively for groups and photography.

Our hide is accessible for wheelchairs and a short video showing the route to the hide and inside can be viewed here. We have worked with AccessAble so you can find out about our facilities before you visit. AccessAble’s surveyors assessed our venue to create a Detailed Access Guide which can be viewed here.

The hide can be booked on an exclusive basis if you wish to bring your own family/social bubble for the evening. If you are looking for photographic opportunities, we have a photographic hide for one to two people that can be booked each night on an exclusive basis.
