German walking tour of Inverness

Join me on this two-hour walking tour of Inverness city centre. Tour led in German.

During this two-hour walking tour I will take you through the city centre of Inverness, the “Capital of the Highlands”.

I will show you many impressive buildings, places of historical importance and explain, what part Inverness played during the Jacobite rebellions.

Step back in time and discover the beginnings of this former market town, how it rapidly grew in the 19th century and its transformation into a modern city over the last 50 years.

There will be long lost tales, horrible histories, surprising facts, modern day curiosities and even a few Outlander references for fans of the series.

Meeting point is on the riverbanks next to the Cathedral at the "Paths around Inverness" sign. All tours need to be pre-booked.
