About

Exploring the east side of North Highlands, our private tour will take you to Glenmorangie Distillery, Dunrobin Castle, and John O'Groat.

Glenmorangie Distillery, one of the most famous whisky distilleries in Scotland, was created in 1843, after William Matheson, acquired the farm and converted it from a brewery to a distillery. Today, the distillery belongs to LVMH. Please note that Glenmorangie Distillery welcomes children

Dornoch is a popular destination for visitors, a famous place for golfing. The town is most famous for its cathedral and the Witch’s Stone it is said that the last witch in Scotland was burnt in 1727. There is an opportunity to have a stop for lunch at the restaurant, coffee and cake or a pub meal.

The stunning Dunrobin Castle, a 700-year-old unoccupied house – is one of Britain’s continuously inhabited houses dating back to the early 1300s. It is the largest in the northern Highlands. You will have time to explore the castle, its gardens and grounds. It is the family seat of Clan Sutherland.

The last stop will be John O'Groat - the most northerly point in mainland Britain, from this point it is 874 miles to Land’s End in Cornwall, England. Take your time to walk around and see the famous landmark “Journey’s End”, a signpost installed in 1964.
