Fun and frolics as you travel off road around the farm in our Kawasaki Buggy. Get up close and personal with our Highland Coos and learn about their behaviours. After the tour enjoy lunch and homebaking with Matt and I, in our cosy cabin, The Pantry.

Nether Glenny Spring and Summer Farm Tour

Ready for a day of fresh air, quirky cows, and fascinating history? When you arrive at Nether Glenny Farm, you’ll be welcomed by Matt, your tour guide, who’ll give you a quick rundown before you head off on your farm adventure. You’ll soon be cruising through the fields, right into the heart of the herd.

Our Highland cows and rotationally grazed meaning they are moved around the fields to allow the grass to rest and recover between grazing periods. Matt will share fascinating details about the cows' quirky behaviours, their pecking order, names, ages, and unique personalities!

Next, we’ll take you to an ancient rock art site where you’ll uncover stories of Neolithic Nether Glenny and its early inhabitants. Get ready for historical facts, including tales from World War II and dive into some local lore, including Mary, Queen of Scots, and her connection to this very land!

Matt will explain how we reduce our environmental footprint through traditional land management, our tree planting projects, renewable energy and our new rewilding journey alongside Scotland The Big Picture

After all that exploring, you’ll be ready to kick back and enjoy a tasty lunch in our cozy pantry. It’s the perfect time to ask us about farm life We'll also share how we transformed this farm into a peaceful haven for holidaymakers and visitors, creating a place where nature and tranquility thrive. We're proud to be caretakers of this stunning landscape, working hard to preserve its beauty and history for future generations to enjoy.
