Travel through the Highlands of Scotland on our ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ tour and visit incredible sites on the Isle of Skye 3 Day tour starting & finishing in Edinburgh. Those sites include the Old Man of Storr, Glencoe & Loch Ness.

Highlights - Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye - Day 1

  • Boat to the Isle of Skye

Day 1 the tour departs from Edinburgh, Scotland's Capital city, and travels northwest towards Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Now heading north into the Highlands of Scotland we stop by the stunning scenes of Rannoch Moor & Glencoe before continuing on towards Glenfinnan Viaduct. Learn about the beginning of the final Jacobite Uprising & view the bridge made famous by the Harry Potter Movies. Catch the ferry across to the Isle of Skye.

Day 2 will start with a visit to Dunvegan Castle, home to Clan MacLean before we travel to the northern part of the Isle of Skye called the Trotternish Peninsula. Here the stunning landscape will be breathtaking in every direction, so enjoy the coastal drive with stops at Fairy Glen, Kilt Rock, and Duntulm Castle once home to the Highland Clan MacDonald and Portree.

  • Nature Reserve Walk
  • Cairngorms National Park
  • Pitlochry

Day 3 travels south off of the Isle of Skye to visit the stunning Eilean Donan Castle, and through the Highlands of Scotland heads east towards a cruise on the famous Loch Ness, so be sure to watch out for the Monster! Once the cruise is completed, continue south into the Cairngorms National and enjoy the incredible Mountain scenery. The tour will end in Edinburgh City, the Capital of Scotland.
