This vacationcombines some of the best small, luxury hotels in Scotland with travel by spectacular railways and includes private day tours with local guides. It is designed for the independent traveller, happy not to be confined by a group, but looking for personal service and a touch of luxury at each destination.


£2345 per person for April, £2385 in May & October, £2440 per person for June, July, August & September.

All prices based on two adults sharing a double or twin room and includes 5 nights bed & breakfast, and 2 nights dinner, bed & breakfast in our hand-picked selection of small 4 and 5 star hotels.This holiday also includes:

  • First-class single ticket trip on the Jacobite steam train
  • Standard class train tickets from Glasgow to Fort William and Kyle of Lochalsh to Inverness.
  • Taxi transfers Fort William, Skye, Inverness & Pitlochry.
  • A private guided tour of Skye
  • A private half-day tour of Loch Ness, plus a one-hour boat trip (not private).

Train travel will be first class where possible.

A day tour with private guide can be arranged in Perthshire for an extra £125 per person.
