Private Glasgow West End Walking Tour

On this 1.5 hour experience, your local guide will immerse you in the sights and sounds of the West End, bringing its history and culture to life. With flexible meeting and end points, and a dedicated local guide, maximise your time in Glasgow.

Discover the affluent and prosperous area of Glasgow’s West End with it’s own unique history and culture. Home to the iconic University of Glasgow, Scotland’s most visited Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and the relaxing Botanic Gardens, the West End is a must visit on any trip to Glasgow.

During this 1.5 hour tour we will make the ordinary, extraordinary as you hear the stories of Glasgow's development during the ages. From Kibble Palace at the Botanic Gardens to the hidden railway line and the Lady of the Lake in Kelvingrove Park, we'll meander down the quaint cobbled lanes of the West End to uncover the history and stories that make this area so unique.

Start time & location: choose your start time in the booking form. We can start the tour at the central location of the main entrance to the Botanic Gardens on Great Western Road , or we can meet at your hotel (email us to change start location).
