River Tweed

River Fishing for trout in Scotland

Join us on the rivers on The Borders and Perthshire fishing for Wild Brown Trout. Learn to catch trout on dry flies, spiders, wet flies, and various nymphing techniques. Suitable for beginners or experts looking to improve.

The River Tweed and Tay system offers a wealth of brown trout fishing. Our guides have fished these rivers since childhood and will share with you the techniques to catch fish and target wild brown trout. Quality Sage, and Orvis fly fishing rods and reels are provided, as well as Orvis breathable Waders and boots in all sizes.

In addition we carry an extensive selection of nymphing rods to try and enjoy, like the Vision Nymphmaniac, Orvis Clearwater, and Sage ESN.

Our guides are accomplished competition river anglers and the flies and tungsten nymphs we use are all hand tied by our guides.

During Covid, and to avoid car sharing, we would meet you near the river.
