V&A Dundee and stunning Perthshire

Visit Scotland's latest world class attraction and explore the stunning architecture and design galleries of the V&A Dundee. The first campus of the famous V&A in London this wonderful venue showcases the Best of Scottish design and more.

V&A Dundee is a design museum in Dundee, Scotland, which opened in September 2018. The V&A Dundee is the first design museum in Scotland and the first Victoria and Albert museum outside London. The V&A Dundee is also the first building in the United Kingdom that has been designed by Kengo Kuma.

Take time to enjoy the permanent gallery and appreciate the best of Scottish design. Ranging from architecture to fashion, healthcare to furniture, and engineering to video game design, around 300 exhibits have been drawn from the V&A’s world-famous collections of art, design and performance, as well as museums, private collections and designers across Scotland and the world.

Curated in collaboration with V&A South Kensington, the Scottish Design Galleries will explore Scotland’s design landscape, historically and today.

We will also enjoy the many other attractions in the city which explain the rich heritage of Dundee through the centuries. Discover the tale of Scott and Shackleton and their brave crew. Enjoy a visit to this award-winning museum and attraction.

Finally visit the Verdant Works which is a world class visitor attraction which tells the story of Dundee’s industrial textile heritage in the atmospheric setting of a beautifully refurbished Mill building. Hear the tales of the mill workers, see how they lived and worked in an industry which enveloped Dundee. Explore this amazing building, see (and hear) the machines at work, and step back to a time where the Mills were the heart of Dundee.
