Dundee Tay Estuary Kayak Tour

This time we are exploring the magnificent River Tay Estuary, its wildlife, and history. Launching from Dundee or Wormit (dependent on tides) we will explore the Dundee City Waterfront, traverse under the Tay Rail Bridge, Wormit and Tayport coasts.

This trip is graded: INTERMEDIATE

This is a full-day guided tour, which is 5-6 hours long. All paddling equipment will be provided. There is a selection of single and double kayaks to choose from depending on experience and weather conditions.

The trip is suitable for those 14 years and older. All that you need to bring is some warm clothes for the weather, including shoes you don’t mind getting wet. For younger explorers, we offer shorter tours at alternative locations. Please get in touch for further details.

Unless requested, we will bring our double sea kayaks which are much easier to use, fast, comfortable, and stable. We will be in touch a few days before the trip with more detailed information, including the meeting point, chosen to suit us best for the weather conditions at the time. The cost would be £99pp. If you bring your own, venue-suitable boat, the cost is £70pp.
