On this tour we will talk about some of Edinburgh’s most important buildings, such as the stunning St. Giles Cathedral and the impressive City Chambers. We will walk along its most famous streets including The Royal Mile, Chambers Street and Victoria Street, the street that inspired the writer of the Harry Potter novels to create Diagon Alley.


We will also visit the sculpture of Scotland’s most famous guard dog, Bobby, located right outside Greyfriars cemetery, where many mysteries and legends await, and even perhaps some paranormal activity! Parts of the Harry Potter novels were written in Edinburgh and their writer, J.K. Rowling used the graveyard as a source of inspiration. Join us to find out where she wrote and what parts of Edinburgh she drew on to enthral an entire generation!
