Outlander tour
Experience the powerful emotions of the battle of Culloden and discover the true story of the Jacobite uprising , visit Clava Cairns a well preserved Bronze Age cemetery with ring cairn and standing stones the site that inspired the Outlander books.
Starting our tour at Culloden House you will get plenty of opportunity to take pictures of this stunning famous house before we move on to Culloden Battlefield where you will immerse yourself in this historic site and get a sense of the sites and sounds of the battlefield, you will also see the gravestone of the Clan Fraser (Jamies grave) we will continue our tour to Clava Cairns a stunning site with large standing stones plenty of photo opportunity again to touch the stone that inspired Diana Gabaldon, be careful you don't fall back in time! we will then visit the Wardlaw Mausoleum the burial place of Jamie's grandfather Clan chief Simon "The Fox" Fraser (aka Lord Lovat) .We are sure you will enjoy this wonderful tour it is a must for any Outlander fan, we can't guarantee the weather but we can provide you with a fabulous day to remember.
