In 2026 the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, gift shop and cafe will be open to the Public on a daily basis from Monday 1st April until Wednesday 31st July. Opening times are from 10.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. however please note that the last recommended admission is at 4.30 p.m.


We recommend that you set aside at least one and a half hours for your visit to Balmoral. This will give you time to visit the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, gift shop and the Pipers Hall Cafe.

Our Price includes access to the formal and vegetable gardens, the exhibitions in the stable area and largest room in the Castle, the Ballroom.

The admission charges include the audio handset tour, which is available in English together with Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish translations. The audio tour is only available for admissions before 4.30 p.m.


This Tour has a Minimum booking of 3 Passengers even if only 2 passengers travel and is fully inclusive of the castle with audio guide and Lochnagar Distillery Visit
