Island-hopping mountain bike adventure in the Scottish Highlands

Our 4-day ‘Espresso Adventure’ MTB Tour Skye + Raasay is, in our view, the very best wilderness mountain bike experience you can have in the UK over one long weekend. Starting with a warm-up ride on mainland Highlands, you’ll then head first to the Isle of Skye, then on to the Isle of Raasay, taking in the most spectacular scenery and unique transport to get there

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

This ‘Espresso Adventure’ MTB Tour Skye + Raasay is a unique glimpse into traditional Highland and Island life, coupled with some of the most breathtaking views and spectacular wild singletrack you’ve ever ridden. Here are the best bits:

  • Pedal some of the most wild, remote singletrack in Europe
  • Take the last, manually-operated turntable ferry in the world
  • Enjoy a wee dram or a local craft beer in a Highland pub
  • Hike-a-bike to the most unforgettable mountain views
  • Sample the finest west coast seafood
  • Learn the history of Calum’s Road, hand-built over 20 years by one man

DAY 0 - Arrive in Inverness, refresh + prepare for your adventure

DAY 1 - Group briefing + local warm-up ride

DAY 2 - Isle of Skye: pedalling in the shadow of the Cuillins

DAY 3 - Isle of Raasay: technical singletrack + spectacular views

DAY 4 - Last drop of fun + departure
