Cape Wrath Trail, Scottish Highlands. Be prepared to be enchanted by the raw, untamed beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Our carefully selected stopover sites offer unrivalled views of the rugged mountains and a canvas of colours that come alive during all times of the day.

Why the Cape Wrath Trail:

The trail, over 240 miles of the Scottish Highlands is mainly undiscovered. When you stop to admire its breathtaking beauty and sit on that rock, you are more than likely the first to do so. With no phone coverage, we are alone and with the landscape.

What’s Included:

  • Guided Journey: Exploring the narrative of the trail alongside an experienced guide who knows the best locations for capturing the essence of Scotland’s highlands through your lens or on your phone
  • Photography Skills: Sharpen your skills with dedicated experiences led by an Award-Winning, Qualified Full-time Professional Photographer. Where necessary, we can cover techniques for capturing the narrative of our adventure

Highlights: (day dependent)

  • Golden Hour Magic: Witness the ethereal beauty of the golden hour as the sun paints the sky in vibrant hues against the backdrop of majestic mountains
  • Astrophotography Opportunities: Capture the brilliance of the starry night sky with expert guidance on astrophotography techniques
  • Guided: Venture on guided excursions to hidden gems along the trail, offering unique perspectives for your photography
  • Networking & Community: Connect with fellow passionate photographers, sharing stories and tips

Requirements:

  • Photography Gear: Bring your camera or smartphone, tripod, filters, and any preferred lenses for landscape and low-light photography
  • Fitness Level: A moderate level of fitness is recommended for hiking and exploring the terrain, we will be hiking around 5-8 miles each day
  • Personal: If overnight bring your tent, clothing, boots, equipment and food/drink

They allow visitors to the north-west Highlands, to explore and capture images of the landscape's topography in an emotionally meaningful environment.
