Dunrobin Castle/Dornoch/Glenmorangie Distillery

Full Day Tour from Inverness &/or Invergordon. Price shown is per tour up to 6 passengers.

On this tour we will pass through some amazing scenery and visit the biggest private house in the north at one point in time. I moved to Scotland 12 years ago and it's exciting the connection between history, legends and wildlife of this country!

We will take in the Black Isle and its legends before we arrive at Dunrobin. The castle dates back to 1275 by Robert, Earl of Sutherland. The impressive house contains 189 rooms, with a rich collection of fine furniture, paintings, tapestries and objects d'art. The castle is magnificently set in a great park and you are free to walk in these beautiful gardens which overlook the sea.

After the visit to the Dunrobin, we will arrive to the village of Dornoch. This is one of the best preserved victorian villages with Dornoch Cathedral dating back to the 12 hundreds. The old Jail was converted into a gift shop, so you could be walking through the cells.

A well deserved dram at Glenmorangie Distillery is a must after all the excitement of the day before returning.
