There is also an entry fee payable to Historic Environment Scotland. As of 25th June 2018 this was;
£17 for adults aged 15-59
£10.20 for children aged 5-15
£13.60 for adults aged 60+ and unemployed persons
These are the rates for pre-booked entry to Edinburgh Castle.
