Getting off the main roads with a SKYEFARI wildlife tour

Full Day SKYEFARI Wildlife Watching Tour

Join us for a fantastic wildlife-watching adventure around the Isle of Skye. Our main targets are our "Skye Five" - golden and white-tailed eagles, red deer, otters and seals. You never know what we might see and that could even include cetaceans!

Our custom-outfitted 4x4 Mercedes minibus is perfect for getting off the main road and onto tracks and trails into the wilds of Skye. Your guide, David Lambie, is a very experienced ecologist who knows the landscapes of the Highlands and Islands intimately and has great knowledge of where our target species are likely to be found. His enthusiasm and knowledge will make sure you have a great day whatever the weather, and our partnership with Swarovski Optik means we will have some excellent top-quality binoculars and a spotting scope to try out for really close-up views.

Our pricing is on a sliding scale per person from £90 to £150 so the larger your group, the less per person it will be. Please ask for details. Alternatively you can of course charter us for your own one-to-one private tour (£300) or for a couple (£150 pp) and we will be happy to talk about tailoring to it any particular interests you might have or species you are willing to spend longer looking for.

SKYEFARI

We run fully-guided wildlife safaris on the Isle of Skye aboard our specially-outfitted 4x4 Mercedes minibus. We aim to show you what we call the "Skye 5" which are golden and white-tailed sea eagles, otter, deer and seals. That's our main target list but of course we will take all opportunities to view other Scottish wildlife that comes along. This could include such other species as hen harriers and other birds of prey, pine martens (already seen one in 2021!) or even whales, dolphins and porpoise from some shore locations. We run either a full day trip of 7-8 hours, or a 3-hour night tour.
