Kinross House is a guesthouse in Grantown-on-Spey in the north of the Cairngorms. It’s an attractive Victorian villa with period features situated on possibly the quietest street in Grantown in wooded surroundings. They offer free use of mountain bikes, plus secure storage for your own bike, fishing gear, skis or golf clubs. This lovely Victorian village has shops and restaurants nearby, and pleasant surrounding walks which you can follow to the River Spey.
Gardener’s Cottage near Aviemore offers two charming self-catering cottages (both sleep four), tucked away at the end of Inshriach Garden. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Cairngorms, just 4 miles south of Aviemore. If you’re a mountain biker, you can head straight up to the forest from the doorstep and start exploring the hundreds of miles of tracks available, suitable for riders of all ages and levels. Aviemore’s skiing resort is also nearby.
