Glenwhan Gardens comprises 12 Acres with a huge collection of both species and hybrid Rhododendrons.
The owners Tessa Knott & Ian Sinclair ex RBG Edinburgh and Benmore Garden, will conduct a Party meeting at Glenwhan Tearoom at 10am for Coffee and take a conducted Tour of the Gardens. Ian will explain the plant origins and habitats and Tessa will describe how the making of Glenwhan began in the 1980’s out of wild moorland and how the ground was transformed to the beautiful garden it is today.
Admission is £10. 00 to include coffee and a short talk in the Tearoom before going round the Gardens. Tickets may be booked ahead ( preferred) or on the day. There is a thriving Tearoom where Covid restrictions will be strictly adhered to.
