Edinburgh Christmas Market

Christmas in Scotland

Edinburgh at Christmastime is a sight to behold, with its Christmas markets and streets lined with fairy lights. This tour gives you 4 activity-filled days to get into the festive spirit. Accommodation and activities included.

On this city break, you get the best of both worlds with Edinburgh sightseeing and a guided tour into the Highlands.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN EDINBURGH

Upon your arrival in Edinburgh, make your way to your hotel in the city centre. If you arrive early in the day, we recommend spending the afternoon walking through the city, strolling along the grand streets of the New Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At night, take in the twinkling lights of the Christmas Market.

DAY 2: SECRETS OF THE ROYAL MILE & EDINBURGH CASTLE

You have the morning to explore Edinburgh as you wish. This afternoon, you'll join a guided walking tour of the Old Town, learning how people used to live. Then you'll skip the line to visit Edinburgh Castle.

Included: Walking tour and Edinburgh Castle entrance

DAY 3: HIGHLANDS & CASTLES

Today, you join a small group tour into the snowy west Highlands to see the beauty of Scotland's countryside. Your local guide will tell you stories on the way to Loch Lomond, Doune and Stirling.

Included: Guided bus tour and Doune Castle entrance

DAY 4: DEPARTURE FROM SCOTLAND

Today you say goodbye to Scotland. If your flight is in the afternoon, you may take your last few hours to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, visit one of Edinburgh’s many museums, or take one last stroll through the charming city centre.
