Cruise Loch Lomond - Ben Lomond Explorer

Your chance to "bag a Munro!" A Munro is a mountain in Scotland measuring over 3,000 ft. Ben Lomond is Scotland's most southerly Munro and we will ferry you from Tarbet to Rowardennan for you to join the path to the summit and its incredible views.

For spectacular views across the National Park, take an exhilarating hike up Ben Lomond on the Ptarmigan Ridge or Tourist Route from Rowardennan.

Owned by the National Trust for Scotland, the Ptarmigan Path forms an exhilarating walk to the summit of Ben Lomond (3,192 ft). The rocky trail is well trodden with much of the hillside designated as a site of Special Scientific Interest. Also explore the Ardess Hidden History Trail near Rowardennan. A return ferry at 4.45pm allows just over 6 hours for the hike, which requires sturdy boots (please keep dogs under control).

The more popular and easier route starts at Rowardennan Car Park.

Please note: Return from Rowardennan departs from Rowardennan Youth Hostel Jetty.
