Edinburgh to Pitlochry Whisky and Chocolate Experience
From Edinburgh to the beautiful Pitlochry and Queens View, with a whisky experience from a whisky master, paired with chocolate, and two fabulous distilleries to visit.
Saltire Executive Travel invites you on a relaxed Highland experience that blends beautiful scenery, whisky heritage, and a touch of indulgence.
Your day begins with a private pick‑up from your Edinburgh hotel or cruise ship. From there, we travel north in luxury, crossing the impressive Queensferry Crossing and heading into the rolling landscapes of rural Perthshire, a region where the views seem to unfold more beautifully with every mile.
Our first stop is the renowned Aberfeldy Distillery, home of Dewar’s. Here you’ll explore the craft and character behind one of Scotland’s most celebrated whiskies, learning how simple ingredients are transformed into the spirit enjoyed around the world.
We then visit the Highland Chocolatier, famous for its award‑winning truffles. After a browse and a taste, we continue to the charming town of Pitlochry for lunch and a little time to wander.
The afternoon brings one of Scotland’s most iconic viewpoints, Queen’s View. While you take in the sweeping Highland panorama, you’ll enjoy a hand‑picked single malt whisky paired with luxury chocolate truffles from the Highland Chocolatier. Neil, a whisky master, will talk you through the flavours and the story behind the dram in your glass.
Our final stop is the historic Blair Atholl Distillery for a relaxed tasting session in an atmospheric setting rich with tradition.
After a day of whisky, scenery, and Highland hospitality, we return to Edinburgh in comfort, leaving you with memories, photographs, and flavours that capture the very best of Scotland.
Join us for a day where nothing is rushed, every stop is chosen with care, and the journey is every bit as enjoyable as the destinations.
