Lochranza, Isle of Arran

Isle of Arran - Mogabout - Arran Safari (North Island Tour)

One for Outlander fans, this tour ticks all the boxes: standing stones, castles, distillery, wildlife and history.

This "day trip" tour takes in some of the best the Isle of Arran has to offer.

There are several highlights during this tour including Lochranza Distillery, Brodick & Lochranza Castles , Standing stones and much more packed in round about.

Come and see the Devil's Punchbowl; the Witches' Step and keep your eyes peeled for Arran's "Big Five": Golden eagles, Stags, Otters, Red Squirrels and Seals.

We'll pass through the picturesque coastal villages of Corrie and Sannox before turning inland, where we'll share tales of the Highland Clearances in the very spots where they happened. The views will become more and more spectacular as we climb into the hills, and a dram awaits, provided you're over 18!

We'll have a lunch stop on the way after the distillery and explore the ruins of Lochranza Castle then travel south with a stop at the tallest standing stone on Arran, The Druids stone !!

On the way back we'll pause at Home Farm, where there are tempting shopping opportunities. Visit the home of global brand Arran Aromatics, sample delicious cheeses from the Arran Cheese Shop and pick up some pottery hand thrown on the island.

Explore Arran in style, learn lots about its culture, history, geography and ecology, sample a dram and even fit in some shopping - sounds like a great day, right? Book now!
