A deserted beach and a forest filled with wildlife - this tour takes in two of Arran's best environments including an opportunity to visit our new Lagg Distillery.
From stag spotting to seal spotting, this tour will take you deep into the woods and out onto a deserted beach.
We'll follow the road south, pointing out historical landmarks and amazing geological features. Will you spot the fabled white stag among the trees? You're sure to see red squirrels and birds of prey - we'll even tell you the folk tales of the otherworldly beings rumoured to dance in the woods at night.
We’ll take you up onto the Clauchlands hills with spectacular views to Holy Isle and then deep into the woodland and reveal the stunning Glenashdale Falls, dropping 140ft to the river below. We’ll then transport you high into the hills, where you will uncover a 5000 year old chambered cairn (Carin ban). This is one of the most complete examples of a clyde type cairn in Scotland. Will you feel the energy at this sacred spot ?
Through the trees you will be treated to an incredible vista of the firth of Clyde and a stunning deserted beach on the south of the Island.
To round off an adventurous day, we'll stop at Lagg distillery. You could sample some of their amazing new whisky cocktails.
