Mountain air in the morning, sea air by lunchtime. On this Oban and Glencoe day tour from Glasgow, begin in Luss beside Loch Lomond, cross Rannoch Moor and stop beneath the Three Sisters before following the west coast towards Oban. There’s a view of Castle Stalker across the water along the way, too.
In Oban, enjoy time around the harbour and find your own spot for lunch, whether that means local seafood or a cosy café. The return takes you inland to Loch Awe for a walk towards Kilchurn Castle and views of its ruins against the mountains. Your expert guide shares the clan history, local stories and changing character of the west Highlands, with scenic stops that let you experience each landscape beyond the roadside.
