St Cuthbert's Way Self-guided Walking Holiday

Wander through the tranquil surroundings of the Cheviot Hills, crossing paths with the charming market towns of the Borders, before making the causeway crossing over the impressive abbey at Lindisfarne, a fantastic end to a walk in the countryside.

While you're out discovering new landscapes on foot, w eat Celtic Trails are working behind the scenes to keep the walking experience as uncomplicated and enjoyable as possible. You'll be well equipped with comprehensive route guides & maps, and you'll have our full back-up 24/7. After a day spent outdoors, you'll return to one of our high standard accommodations, with your luggage transferred between each night stay, taking the load off your back while you're out walking.

St Cuthbert's Way follows in the footsteps of the titular saint, as he made his way through the pastoral surroundings of the Cheviots down to the causeway crossing at Lindisfarne Abbey. Travelling the landscape on foot, you'll be well placed to take in the far-reaching, sweeping views of the beautiful borders scenery, as well as ending your pilgrimage at Holy Island and Lindisfarne Abbey.
