West Highland Way Self-guided Walking Holiday

Walking the West Highland Way will take you through some of the most magnificent scenery to be found in Scotland, with accommodation booked, luggage transfer, full maps & route guides and 24-hour assistance. All you have to do is enjoy the walk.

Grand open landscapes await those with a sense of adventure on this walking holiday through the rugged, beautiful heart of the Scottish Highlands.

This is one of those rare routes that manage to be truly wild, as well as well-maintained and signposted, making it ideal for anyone seeking wilderness landscapes without having to worry too much about navigation.

Beginning in Milgavie (just north of Glasgow), your route takes in some of the most distinctive, awe-inspiring scenery Scotland has to offer. From the shores of Loch Lomond, to Glencoe and Rannoch Moor, the West Highland Way is a means of exploring all these unforgettable places, up close and a pace in which you can truly take it all in.

The route ends in the town of 'Fort William', known as 'the Outdoor Capital of the UK'. From here, walkers can choose to extend their walk further, by taking the tourist trail to the top of Great Britain's highest summit, Ben Nevis.
