Welcome to Scotland

Scotland. The country you love needs you.

In light of COVID-19, everyone's health and safety is the most important thing. This means despite the love and desire to share our friendly, passionate and unique country, we must ask everyone at this time not to travel to or around Scotland. Please stay safe everyone.

As of 5 January 2021, the majority of Scotland is under a temporary lockdown, though some island communities are under level 3 restrictions. Everyone is being asked to stay at home except for essential purposes. Check the Covid-19 restrictions for the most up to date information.

We all hope to be back exploring Scotland again very soon, but in the meantime fill your screen with beautiful pictures of Scotland and plan your future trip.

Travel virtually to our countryside, hills and landscapes, awe-inspiring landmarks and coastal seascapes for the perfect break.

Take some time out in one of our seven cultural cities, with their iconic attractions, full range of accommodation offerings, and innovative bars and restaurants which can provide sit-in, delivery or takeaway options, depending on current restrictions.

What about a coastal seaside retreat with miles of sandy beaches on your doorstep during Scotland's Year of Coasts & Waters? Or a glamping escape deep in the countryside with acres of space and time to reconnect with loved ones?

We look forward to welcoming you back to Scotland very soon.
