Right at the end of the road, just south of the Applecross peninsula on Scotland's lovely west coast, Cuillin View Cottage stands on the shores of Loch Carron, with breathtaking views across to Plockton, Skye and the Cuillin Hills over the water.
A traditional, detached croft house, it is one of a little group of three in this peaceful spot with sun-trap terrace garden (furniture) and the shingle shore just over the low wall. Inside, it has been refurbished to a high standard, and now provides accommodation which is both comfortable and full of character.
Chilling out and relaxing must be the order of the day at Cuillin View, but there is so much to do and see in this part of the world, that you are bound to be tempted away at some stage to sample the many delights of the area - to go walking or climbing on Skye and Torridon for example or to explore the scenic Applecross peninsula. A visit to the subtropical gardens at Inverewe is another excellent day out.
