MacGregor Cottage is one of a small settlement of cottages at Ord on Skye, with stunning views of Loch Eishort and only a few minutes from the beach.

MacGregor Cottage is one of a very small settlement of white pebble-dashed cottages at Ord on the south-west corner of Skye bordering Loch Eishort. This beautiful area, 'The Garden of Skye' offers a spectacular location, with heavenly scenery, plenty of wildlife and, of course, the amazing west coast sunsets.
The cottage is comfortably furnished, has a wood-lined interior and open plan layout which gives it a quite Scandinavian feeling.
A good stretch of sandy beach is only a 3 minute walk from the cottage, from which you can enjoy one of the best views across the loch of the Cuillin Mountains. There is a jetty from which to launch boats (at your own risk) and seals and otters can often be glimpsed from it. There is a good bar/restaurant at Isle Ornsay and another at Ardvasar, plus a small general store.
