Self catering accommodation situated on the West Highland Way in the village of Tyndrum. Close to shops, gift shops, hotel, restaurant, chip shop, petrol station and on both the bus and train routes to Oban or Fort William.

The Auld Tyndrum Cottage is set within the Loch Lomond National Park within the village of Tyndrum. The village lies on the A82 which is the main arterial route for the west of Scotland and the Western Isles. The cottage is quiet and set at the end of a private road where the only traffic you will see is walkers on the West Highland Way. The property consists of an old mining cottage, which is the main sitting room with a log fire, and an extension featuring the four bedrooms, a shower room, upstairs toilet, and kitchen with dining table. The setting is idea for those wanting to explore the West Highland, fish, ski (White Corries is less than 20 miles) , or as a base walking and climbing.

The cottage has four bedrooms and sleeps ten. There is one double, two twin rooms upstairs, and a bunk room sleeping four.

Directions

The cottage can be reached by car on the A82 and is only 55 miles from Glasgow. The village is well served by buses on either the Oban or Forw William routes.

Tyndrum while small has two stations Tyndrum Upper (The Fortwilliam Line) and Tyndrum Lower (Oban Line) with trains leaving from Glasgow.
