The Auld Tyndrum Cottage is set within the Loch Lomond National Park within the village of Tyndrum. The village lies on the A82 which is the main arterial route for the west of Scotland and the Western Isles. The cottage is quiet and set at the end of a private road where the only traffic you will see is walkers on the West Highland Way. Tyndrum while small has two stations Tyndrum Upper (The Fortwilliam Line) and Tyndrum Lower (Oban Line) with trains leaving from Glasgow.
