We also offer a range of tailored apparel from our own home grown and Skye woven tweed, including kilts and traditional dress.
We also stock a wide range of Shetland wool.
Traditional knitting skills are also taught here on the Croft, from Gansey knitting (working on 5 needles) to Intarsia, Fairisle and Aran. Courses available for beginners, intermediates and experts ranging from half day to three days duration. We also offer land-based skills courses including Crofting skills, including a two hour 'Croft Tour' where you get to meet the animals and learn a little about spinning, weaving, local history and archeology to our 'Crofter for a Day' where you get up close and personal with the animals and experience being a Crofter for a day.
