Scots Music Group is a community-based charity located in Edinburgh. We run traditional Scots music and song classes for adults and have a strong ethos of community-building, using traditional music, song and dance to bring people together.

Our classes are open to anyone aged 18 or over and are held over three continuous terms which align to the school year. We have various levels for all abilities and classes are relaxed and enjoyable - taught by committed and talented tutors.

We run classes in fiddle, guitar, piano accordion, smallpipes, song, ukulele, whistle, 5-string banjo and mixed instrument. Enrolment is made termly and classes are non residential.
