Explore golden beaches and fishing villages on a self-guided walking holiday along the Fife Coastal Path. The trail spans the industrial landscapes of North Queensferry and wends along the Scottish coastline all the way to Newport-on-Tay.
Walking holidays with Contours are self-guided, so departure times are flexible. You can build your walking group from friends and family or opt to hike alone. Daily luggage transfers are included, along with 24/7 emergency support, breakfast each morning, and all the maps and guidebooks you'll need to find your way.
We offer two versions of the Fife Coastal Path, with multiple itineraries of different daily mileages to choose from.
83 miles of changing coastal scenery await on the full Fife Coastal Path. From the industrial south, the trail heads into rural landscapes complete with tufted dunes, ruined castles and sheltered harbours along the way. You might even spot a few grey seals in the sparkling waters. We offer a massive range of daily mileages to choose from, with itineraries starting at challenging four-day tours and going up to gentle nine-day meanders.
Our short break can be covered in three or four walking days, perfect for a long weekend. This holiday keeps to low clifftop trails and sweeping beaches, doing away with the industrial start of the Fife Coastal Path and exploring the scenic central section between Leven and St Andrews instead.
Looking to modify our standard tours? It's easy to add extra nights at stops of your choosing, so you can build in plenty of rest days and explore the area in full.
