This driving route starts and ends in Edinburgh. Begin at the Forth Bridge in South Queensferry, then continue to Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument before visiting Linlithgow Palace. Along the way, Votura combines route guidance with audio stories to help you understand the places you are seeing.
The tour includes four key locations:
• Forth Bridge – Start at one of Scotland’s best-known landmarks and enjoy views across the Firth of Forth.
• Stirling Castle – Explore one of Scotland’s most important historic castles, set high above the city of Stirling.
• National Wallace Monument – Visit the monument dedicated to Sir William Wallace, with panoramic views over the surrounding landscape.
• Linlithgow Palace – Discover the impressive ruins of the royal palace beside Linlithgow Loch, once a favourite residence of Scotland’s monarchs.
How it works:
• First-time users should download the Votura app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Open the app and create a Votura account.
• Once registered, visit Votura’s free Premium trial page.
• iPhone users: click “Redeem on iPhone” to open the App Store and complete the trial activation process.
• Android users: click “Start Trial on Android”. This opens the Votura app and activates the free trial automatically.
• Return to the app, open this tour and begin at the Forth Bridge in South Queensferry.
• Follow the route map and in-app navigation from one stop to the next.
• At each location, play the audio to hear stories, history and useful context about the place.
• Pause the tour, take breaks or spend longer at any stop. There is no fixed timetable and no guide to keep up with.
• After visiting Linlithgow Palace, follow the route back to Edinburgh.

It does not include a vehicle, driver, fuel, parking, food, drinks or admission to Stirling Castle, the National Wallace Monument, Linlithgow Palace or any other paid attraction.
