Itinerary


Day 1

Pickup from Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Stirling at 09:30am

Luss

Our first stop is the beautiful village of Luss, nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond. You will have 30 mins to explore this wonderful quaint heritage village, which has been voted as ‘the most beautiful village in Scotland’. 

Loch Tulla Viewpoint

We will then head further into the Highlands, where we can have various photo stops, including at Loch Tulla viewpoint.

Rannoch Moor

We will drive through Rannoch Moor, the largest bog expanse in the UK. It is a desolate place with stunning landscape, used in many film settings.

3 Sisters of Glencoe

Moving on, we will head on to the legendary Glencoe valley and mountain range, where we will stop over at the ‘3 sisters’ viewpoint - the most photographed place in Scotland. 

Fort William

This is a major tourist town and is a suitable stop for lunch, it is also next to the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis. If it is a clear day - and time permitting - we can take you to a suitable viewpoint.

Eilean Donan Castle

Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed Castle in Scotland. You may recognise it from the 80's movie 'Highlander'.

Portree

Our final stop is Portree, the main village in the Isle of Skye, if this is where you are staying.


Day 2

Pickup from your accommodation at 9:00am

Old Man of Storr

Heading North of Portree your journey will take you to the Old Man of Storr, the recognized iconic ridge in Skye. You may recognise it from the opening sequence in the movie ‘Prometheus’.

Lealt Waterfalls

The next stop is at the impressive Lealt Waterfalls.

Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls

A short distance away, we will take you to the Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls viewpoint.

An Corran Beach in Staffin

The next stop is the An Corran beach in Staffin, best visited at low tide to search for the recently discovered Megasaurus dinosaur footprints.

Quiraing

Moving on, we will take you to the Quiraing - another amazing vantage point for stunning photos.

Fairy Glen

We will then head over to the Fairy Glen, and a really good lunch stop at this point is the Uig hotel.

Neist Point and Lighthouse

Neist Point and Lighthouse is your final attraction of the day, before heading back to Portree.


Day 3

Pickup from your accommodation at 08:30am

Fairy Pools

With one last attraction to visit in Skye, you have to visit the Magical Fairy Pools.

Fort Augustus, Loch Ness

Leaving Skye behind, your guide will make several photo stops (time permitting) during the 2hr drive to Fort Augustus, where there is an abundance of cafes and restaurants for lunch, and home to Neptune's Staircase: a series of locks that move vessels from one altitude to another. Additionally, there is the opportunity to take a boat cruise on Loch Ness, with a sailing time of 13:00.

Dalwhinnie Distillery

An 80 min drive takes us to Dalwhinnie Distillery, sitting at 1132ft above sea level. It is the highest distillery in Scotland, and produces worldwide acclaimed whisky. The last tour starts at 16:30pm.

Pitlochry

The picturesque market town of Pitlochry will be our final attraction of the tour, with cafes, restrooms and independent shops.

Drop Off

We will then drop you off back in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling.
