Private Outlander Tour/Shore Excursion

Join us on a journey to some of the the iconic filming locations of the hit TV series Outlander. Visit 'Castle Leoch', 'Lallybroch', and other iconic sites, finding out how they were used in Outlander.

Itinerary:


Midhope Castle - Jamie's family home, Lallybroch.


Blackness Castle - Served as Fort William, where Jamie received a flogging from Black Jack Randall in the Castle's courtyard.


Linlithgow Palace - This served as Wentworth Prison, where Jamie was tortured by Black Jack Randall.


Doune Castle - Featured in Outlander as Jamie's cousins the Mackenzie clans ancestral home, Castle Leoc. It is here that we are first introduced to Murtagh, Mrs Fitz, Laoghaire and Colum the laird of clan Mackenzie. Monty Python and the Holy Grail and the Game of Thrones pilot were also filmed here.


Culross - Aka Cranesmuir, it was here that Jamie saved the little boy's ear that had been nailed to a post. In season 4, it was also the location of Balriggan Cottage, home to Laoghaire and her daughter Joan.


Aberdour Castle - Jamie was taken here to recover from his ordeal at Wentworth Prison at the hands of Black Jack Randall.

Cancellation/Booking Policy

We take a £120 deposit with the balance to be paid directly to the guide on the day cash/card.

  • No cancellation fee is applicable, if made at least 14 days in advance of the scheduled departure.
  • If a customer cancels between 3 and 13 days of the scheduled departure, a 50 per cent cancellation fee applies.
  • If a customer cancels within 48 hours of the tour departure time, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee applicable.
  • Full refund if the cruise ship fails to make port.
