Urban Scotland: Discover Scottish Design and Architecture

If architecture and design are your passion, do not miss this innovative and original tour, which will allow you to travel through Scotland and discover its history through real gems of historical and contemporary architecture!

This tour will take you to discover the cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. The itinerary is dedicated to all those who travel to get to know the history of each place through the lens of Architecture and Design. It is a journey that offers an original cut of Scotland, a country that hides real gems of historical and contemporary architecture, like the worldwide reknown Forth Bridges. The tour, also suitable for families with children, will give you the opportunity to explore a wide range of construction types: during your stay you can visit buildings designed by Steven Holl, Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster and of course Charles Rennie Mackintosh, only for mention a few. Children as well as their parents will love the V&A designed by Kengo Kuma but also the New Lanark Unesco Heritage Site with its Annie Experience! Obviously, in each city you will also have the opportunity to taste typical products and buy quality souvenirs strictly Made in Scotland. Federica, one of the directors of our agency, absolutely loves Art and Architecture and is therefore the perfect guide and consultant for this tour. With her advice and knowledge you will discover a Scotland whose architecture, between contrasts and fusion of styles and construction techniques, describes a country with a complicate past and an incredibly dynamic present!
